Ndaté DIENG, Lawyer

Ndaté DIENG is a lawyer at the Geneva Bar. After graduating in International Relations (international law, political science, development economy, diplomatic history) at the prestigious Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, she began her career as an international lawyer with the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha. She pursued her career with the Secretariat of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva then became legal counsel of Raamen Filmwoks International, LLC in New York.

Specifically influenced by her experience in international criminal justice, she then decided to study law at the University of Geneva where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree and a Master's degree in civil and criminal law. Registred to the Geneva bar in 2010, she completed her legal internship and worked as an associate at the law firm Canonica Valticos de Preux + associés (formerly de Preux + associés) from 2010 to 2014. She further joined the law firm Lenz & Staehelin from 2014 to 2017, then the Geneva Court of Justice, Criminal Appeals and Revision Division. In May 2019, she founded her own law firm, Dieng Law. Since, January 1st 2020, she co-founded the firm Dieng Studer Law with Cécé David STUDER.

Ndaté DIENG advises both institutional and private clients. She mainly practices in the fields of International law (criminal, public, human rights, etc.), Foundation law, Litigation, both civil and criminal, Immigration law and Commercial law.

Through her significant network of consultants throughout the world and specifically in Africa, she advises actors on the international scene based in Geneva, Embassies, International Organizations, NGO, etc., on many aspects of International or local law. She also collaborates with the international lawyers' network Civitas Maxima in the fight against international crimes.
